If the DASSP .was less restrictive there would be more operations per day, thus justifying additional controller coverage during the overnight hours.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9133703253863123050.post-30521807712499594082011-03-30T16:05:23.605-04:002011-03-30T16:05:23.605-04:00As a Public Transportation worker of 28 years, fat...As a Public Transportation worker of 28 years, fatigue is not something we decide we want to bring to work with us.<br />It is inflicted upon Flight Attendants, Bus drivers and Pilots, due to "Laws" and legislation, that are totally NOT safe for the public.<br />How many times have I finished, as a Public City Bus Driver, a 13 hour day and had to report back in a whole whopping 8 hours? Many times.<br />And on some of those occasions I reported to the Dispatcher that I was not safe to be behind the wheel, and I was relieved.<br />Fatigue equals Passenger Safety Compromise and we need strong legislation addressing this, and Congress folks with backbone to push it.<br />We do not need any Airline Management input.
